The Q Cafe Company Healthcare Team Win Gold CAP Award 2016 For Quality Catering Services

The Q Café Company Catering Team at Bon Secures Care Village in Mount Dessert, Cork are celebrating this month. They have achieved the highly recognised and prestigious Gold CAP Award for the second time, following an unannounced inspection into quality and standards this month. The CAP Awards (the Continuous Advancement Programme) is an  award programme that recognises real operational service delivery in catering in healthcare and other healthcare departments. The award provides a ‘scored’ measure of the catering teams actual performance against recognised standards of service delivery, operational best practices and legal obligations. The stringent  assessment procedures cover all aspects of the service provided to our healthcare residents / patients. The Q Café Company excelled in the various disciplines in HACCP, food tasting experience, service delivery, training and development, environment, financials, due diligence and staffing.
