Here at The Q Cafe Company we love celebrating a challenge! The Art O’Neill Challenge is just that! A charity trek from Dublin Castle to Glenmalure in the Dublin/Wicklow Mountains in aid of The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team, it is not for the faint hearted!

Members of The 5th Wicklow Sea Scout Group enjoying their time working on The Art O’Neill Challenge
Long standing and well loved Q Cafe Company Manager, Anita Oman, is heavily involved in the 5th Wicklow (Bray) Sea Sout Group in which she gives all her free time to numerous charity events. Anita and her scout group planned to team up with Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue to serve participants important supplies along their route up the Dublin/Wicklow mountains.
Here at The Q Cafe Company we were honoured to provide important breakfast supplies to the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team. This along with further supplies from our suppliers really enabled participants to continue their gruelling trek. Important tea, coffee, fruit, and porridge also fuelled the scouts and other volunteers working for the Mountain Rescue Team on their 36 hour shift manning the breakfast station. An incredible demonstration of resilience, not to mention the ability to cope with freezing weather conditions!

We would like to thank The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team for ensuring the safety of all those exploring our beautiful mountain range in Dublin/Wicklow on a day to day basis.
