Dave’s Indian Mango Lassi

About the Lassi

A lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink that originated in the Indian subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yoghurt, water, spices and fruit. It’s super after a hot and spicy curry to calm and restore. It’s also super in the morning or midmorning snack too. The beauty of this drink really is the cardamon.

How to Make the Mango Lassi

  • 20g chopped ripe mango
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 240ml plain full fa yoghurt
  • 100ml milk
  • Pinch of cardamom 
  • Optional: Chopped pistachios and saffron

**Blitz together in blender and serve. Optional garnish of chopped pistachios and/or saffron.
